A considered approach to architecture — building places that feel calm, generous and rooted in where they stand.

Good architecture is not what you see first. It is how a room treats you at seven in the morning.

I design buildings that age well. Working between Yogyakarta and Jakarta, my practice is built on climate-responsive detailing, honest materials and a long conversation with the people who will use the space.

Trained at Universitas Gadjah Mada and shaped by eight years across studio and site, I move between the drawing and the dust — measuring existing walls, testing brick bonds, and staying on until the last window is hung.

Expertise

WHAT I DO, AND HOW FAR I TAKE IT

01

Architectural Design

Full design from first sketch to construction drawings — houses, cultural buildings and workplaces shaped around climate, budget and site.

02

Adaptive Reuse

Reading what a building already knows, then adding carefully. Colonial shophouses, warehouses and family homes given a second working life.

03

Interior Architecture

Interiors resolved as architecture — joinery, light, acoustics and material sequence drawn at the same table as the structure.

04

Public & Community Space

Markets, prayer halls and libraries designed with the people who will keep them — participatory workshops feeding directly into the plan.

05

Research & Consulting

Passive cooling studies, daylight modelling and material sourcing for practices that want a building to work without machinery.

Process

FROM FIRST VISIT TO LAST DETAIL

Four stages, no surprises. You will know what is happening, what it costs and what is next at every point.

  1. 01

    Listen & Survey

Time on site and long conversations. We measure the building, the light, the wind, and what daily life actually asks of the space.

  2. 02

    Concept & Massing

Sketches, physical models and a clear diagram. We fix the big moves — orientation, section, circulation — before anything gets refined.

  3. 03

    Develop & Detail

Materials chosen and drawn to full size. Every junction resolved on paper so the answers exist before the trades arrive.

  4. 04

    Build & Hand Over

Weekly site presence, mock-ups with the makers, and a project seen through to the day it is lived in.
